Kia ora Subscriber,

With so much news in this month's newsletter, I'll keep this foreward brief. Firstly, a huge congratulations to our newly elected board members! The new board brings an exciting cache of skills, and I'm very much looking forward to working alongside them to develop and grow the Association.

In welcoming the new board members, we're also bidding farewell to Amy Minty, Valkyrie Cain, Mead Robertson, and industry veteran Stephen Knightly. Thank you all so much for your support of NZGDA and the experience that you've shared with the board and the wider industry.

It's fair to say that existing in the NZ Game Development scene is impossible to do, without meeting Stephen. He has dedicated countless hours to the industry, and with a service of more than a decade, those hours definitely add up to a significant number! The impact of Stephen’s influence on our industry is huge, and his absence on the board will be felt I am sure.

Lastly, in the chaos leading up to Christmas, remember to take care of yourselves, be kind to others, and be vigilant at events for your own and your colleagues' safety. We'll be in touch next month with some exciting news to welcome in the new year.

Warm regards,

Joy Keene
Executive Director
NZGDA
